At High Valley
High Valley offers membership as a way for you to support the High Valley community, including the trees, frogs, birds and deer.
Member donations are a way you can give to the Center at High Valley and receive a tax benefit at the same time(the Center is a 501 c3 non-profit, so gifts are tax deductible). It's also a way to help pay for the considerable expenses of keeping High Valley open to all and keeping the land in open space.
As a member you can feel free to come to High Valley not only during our celebrations and events, but just if you feel like being out on the land, or by the water, or walking the labyrinth, or having a picnic. Just be sure to call ahead (845-266-2309) to leave a message that you're coming.
On the old website we had a three-tiered membership form that did not work well in practice. Membership started at $30. Given inflation, it would start at $50 now and go up from there, but any amount would be welcome. I leave it to you to decide how much you'd like to donate. And how often.
You could also donate things we need, in lieu of money, or money to purchase them. I will post a wish-list when (if) High Valley agrees upon what is truly needed. Contact me through the form below.
You can donate to High Valley in two ways: online or by mail. You can fill out the form below online and submit it through the website by clicking on the donate button (credit cards accepted, or Paypal account, all on a secure site) and then the submit button when you are returned here, to this page.
Or you can print out the form and mail it to:
Douglas C. Smyth, The Center at High Valley, 44 Schultzville Rd., Staatsburg, NY 12580. Make checks out to The Center at High Valley.
If you submit it on this site (your information will be confidential), you will be donating through the donate button, which is set up for the Center at High Valley. It accepts credit card or Paypal payments.
