with special guest Jack Maguire

Brigid, the goddess of poetry, smythcraft, and healing, is also High Valley's resident deity.

One traditional way to honor Brigid is with storytelling. At the heart of our Imbolc ritual

this year we are pleased to present Jack Maguire, the renowned and beloved storyteller, who will hold us spellbound with his rendition of "Diarmud and Grainne" one of the most famous and beloved Celtic epic stories.

After the ritual, we will feast, also a fitting tribute to Brigid whose feast day is also called Imbolc, which means "the ewes are in milk!" So bring a dish to share and an unscented candle in a holder to celebrate the waxing light!

If the weather is iffy, please call 845 266-2309 before venturing forth.
