Sunday, August 4th
with Potluck picnic at 5:00. Ceremony and bonfire to follow
Let's keep clean up simple: (bring your own plates, utensils, cups)
followed by bonfire and singing
Lughnasad will be the Center at High Valley's farewell celebration. After 18 years of running the Center and after much deliberation, divination, and soul searching, we have
decided it is time for us to move on to new adventures.
This beautiful place needs vigor, vision, and financial resources that neither we nor The Center at High Valley can continue to provide. If it rains we will picnic indoors and drum and dance in the hay barn.
We thank you for bringing photos or writings (ie 2 dimensional) for a High Valley scrapbook Cait Johnson is kindly coordinating for Douglas and Elizabeth.
Note: Your kind donations will help pay utilities at High Valley until the new stewards of the land can take over from us. No definitive news on that front, but some hope. We will send out an announcement when the time comes. Till then best to keep possibilities confidential. We welcome good wishes and prayers for the best outcome. Thank you!
Love and gratitude to all! Blessed Bees!
